AccessData maintains customer information in both SAP Business One (SAP B1) and Salesforce.com. Data needs to be synchronized such that the same customers exist in both source systems. Due to large data volume, synchronization was a nightmare. Sales order data maintained in Salesforce.com  must be entered manually in SAP B1 and items  maintained in SAP B1 had to be entered manually in Salesforce.com


Michael Stevens, Vice President of Operations at AccessData was looking for a data integration solution that would help integrate and synchronize accounts in Salesforce.com  with customers in SAP B1 and vice versa. He also needed to integrate opportunities in Salesforce.com  with sales orders in SAP B1 and items in SAP B1 with products in Salesforce.com. After a comprehensive search, he found QXchange and believed it would be the ideal solution for his needs.

The QXchange implementation team engaged with David Wariner from AccessData to set up the system. They split the entire integration into a step-by-step process of implementing customer entity, sales order entity and item entity.  Mapping elements for customer entity was gathered first, and the integrated solution analyzed. Based on the analysis, customers were integrated and the bi-synchronization process worked successfully between Salesforce.com  and SAP B1. The sales order entity was then analyzed and integrated successfully from Salesforce.com  to SAP B1. Finally the items entity was analyzed and integrated successfully from SAP B1 to Salesforce.com .  In this way QXchange solved their integration needs. “The QXchange team was great in helping answer all of our questions and solving our issues quickly.” said David Wariner.
